Pastor Michael Jones

Rev. Michael L. Jones (Pastor Mike)  is a native of Oakland, CA and a graduate of  Morehouse College and Birmingham Theological Seminary (BTS). He is the pastor of Harvest Community Church in Birmingham, AL, which he and his wife, Kimberly, planted over 25 years ago. He teaches New Testament at BTS, coaches Basketball at Restoration Academy High School, and serves as the Character Coach for the Birmingham Southern College Men's Basketball program.  He and his wife, Kimberly, have been married for 36 years and have four adult daughters: Candace, Temperance, Christina and Tiara.


Rev Ron Carter


Rev. Ron Carter has been part of the Harvest ministerial team since 2001. He has degrees from the University of Montevallo (BS), Covenant College (M.Ed.) and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (M. Div.) He currently serves as Associate Minister and his responsibilities include pulpit preaching, teaching Sunday School, and pastoral support. Rev. Ron is also a certified DISC, Arbinger and Virtual facilitator. An avid reader, Rev. Ron describes himself and a life-long learner.  He is the husband of Darlene, and the father of Alexandria and Landon.


Minister Daniel Edwards

Daniel is a native of Birmigham Al, living in Pensacola Florida for a time as a child, but came back to Birmingham and to Harvest in 2011.  Before transitioning to full time ministry, Daniel was working in the fields of research and Healthcare at UAB and Princeton Hospital for 10 years.  He is currently working on his Masters of Divinity Degree at  Beason Divinity School.  In his spare time he enjoys being active, studying, discipling young men, watching  sports, hosting people at his home and hanging out with his family.  Daniel is married to Mwannasheria, his wife of 6 years. They live in the Woodlawn community with their two daughters, Aria Drew (4) and Amiyah Danielle (2).  Daniel is passionate about the scriptures, facilitating authentic Christian communities, and seeing people experience spiritual health.
